Overview Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients. Maintains professional accountability for care provision, evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers, and coordinates patient care with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality while performing duties consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and service standards. Position Details Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Medical 7E Location: Mercy Hospital South – 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128 Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours/week, Day shift 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Sign‑On Bonus: Up to $10,000 for experienced nurses, up to $5,000 for new graduate nurses (less than 1 year of experience) Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or equivalent compact licensure Experience: Previous hospital experience preferred; may be required depending on unit Certificates: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required within 30 days of hire Preferred Qualifications Education: BSN preferred Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred Experience: Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting preferred Physical Requirements Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off Tuition support Matched retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period Collaborative and innovative healthcare environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential
