As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. This driving post requires a valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.69 - $20.69 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed07:30 PM - 02:45 AMSun06:00 AM - 01:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of telecommunications and technology facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports. Communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders, escalating security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives as directed. Minimum Requirements: Have at least two years of security-related experience. Possess a valid Class B driver’s license with a passenger endorsement. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
