We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a  Hospitality   Director of Operations for a luxury lifestyle community in Aledo, TX.

​​​​​​​The Hospitality Director of Operations is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Oversee day-to-day operations across departments, including Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Security, and Grounds/Facilities, ensuring consistent service standards and operational excellence property-wide.
• Provide direct, hands-on leadership of the Food & Beverage department, including purchasing, inventory control, menu and service standards, staffing, and financial performance.
• Guide managers across operational departments on staffing responsibilities, including hiring, training, scheduling, and terminating, following company policy and applicable state and federal law.
• Support the pre-opening and launch of the property, including standing up departmental SOPs, staffing plans, and vendor relationships ahead of the property's target launch date.
• Develop and manage department budgets, monitor labor and cost controls, and provide regular, accurate operational and financial reports to the President.
• Ensure compliance with health department rules and regulations, liquor laws (TABC), food safety standards, and established SOPs across all operational departments.
• Partner with other department leaders to maintain a safe, well-maintained, and member-ready property.
• Deliver excellent customer service, including personally greeting and developing relationships with members, and resolving member and guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Keep abreast of market trends and new products and services to increase revenue and member engagement.
• Perform inspections and periodic audits of operational areas to confirm safety of equipment, food handling, cleanliness, and service quality.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to extend established culture, service standards, and onboarding and training programs to the team.
• Promote cooperative effort, a team spirit, and good morale among employees across all departments.
• Help with the duties of other employees when necessary due to an unexpected absence or extra volume.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• Direct, hands-on experience participating in the pre-opening and launch of a luxury resort or hotel property is required. Candidates must have successfully completed a property opening and understand the unique operational challenges of launching a new site.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive leadership experience in Food & Beverage and/or hospitality operations management, with a proven track record in high-volume luxury resort or hotel operations. Country club experience will be considered, but luxury resort or hotel experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong Food & Beverage expertise is required; experience with a luxury resort or hotel hospitality brand is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of health department regulations, food safety standards, and state liquor laws (TABC).
• Proven track record in multi-department financial management, budget development, and cost control.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, mentor, and hold department managers and their teams accountable.
• Strong commitment to customer service, with a member-first mindset.
• Excellent verbal, written, and motivational communication skills to train, inspire, and engage employees across departments.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
• A Bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field of study is preferred.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Must possess a valid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with the company's driver safety policy.
• TABC Certification, Food Handlers Certificate, and Alcohol Safety and Management Certification are required.

Pay Rate Range: $250000 - $300000 / Year

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
