About the Position
Shore to Summit Travel Therapy has an immediate opening for a Travel PT (Physical Therapist) in Kensington, MD. Job Details: - Pay: $1,989 to $2,340 per week - Setting: Skilled nursing facility (SNF) - post-acute and subacute rehabilitation - Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with potential to extend - Shift: 5 x 8-hour days, M-F - Start: 8/24/2026 At Shore to Summit Travel Therapy, your recruiter is an actively practicing physical therapist - a clinician who understands your work because they do it too. Requirements
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs
- Maintain compliance with facility standards and state/federal regulations
Requirements
- Active PT license in MD required to start the assignment
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- BLS/CPR certification
- Prior SNF experience preferred
