Please check out the residency definition to determine if you qualify. What you will be doing: In this role, you will join the statewide Public Assistance Eligibility Team. Together, we will help Alaskan families, the elderly, and other individuals in need reach higher levels of independence and self-sufficiency by connecting them with the public assistance programs our agency offers. You will also have the opportunity to interact extensively with the public, showing empathy while explaining information needs or determining benefits. Being empathetic while explaining the need for information or determining benefits is a strong asset for this position. The work location is at 11312 Kenai Spur Highway, Suite 200, Kenai, AK 99611. This position joins a statewide eligibility workflow team in local Public Assistance offices across the state.
