Exciting Opportunity for a Travel Occupational Therapist Job Description: - Position: Travel Occupational Therapist - Shift: - Days: 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts - Alternatively: Rotating schedule of 8-hour shifts - Shift times: 07:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 07:30 AM - 4:00 PM - Unit: Rehab Services - Assignment Length: 13 weeks - Location: - Address: 2801 Debarr Road, Anchorage, AK 99508 - Floor: 5th - Building: Main Hospital - Facility Overview: - Number of Beds: 175 - Number of Staff: 60 therapy providers (PT, OT, SLPs, PTAs, COTAs) - Patient Ratio: 8-10 patients daily - EMR System: EPIC - Job Requirements: - Must-haves: - Acute care experience - OT Certification - Preferred Skills: - Experience in an inpatient acute care facility - Work Environment: - Typical staff on the unit: - Day Shift: 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters - Weekend Requirements: 2-3 weekends per month - Personality Fit: - Seeking independent and self-motivated candidates - Dress Code: - Scrub color: Olive green - Additional Information: - Weekend rotation: Saturdays and Sundays - Alaska state fingerprint and state background check must be cleared or in provisional status to start working.
