In this full-time position, you will partner with licensed Physical Therapists to provide essential rehabilitative care to children facing various physical challenges. Work Environment Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy tools and technologies designed to facilitate effective treatment programs. The work culture emphasizes teamwork, respect, and a patient-centered approach. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a valuable work-life balance while providing top-notch care to our young patients. Key Responsibilities Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in devising and implementing tailored treatment plans for pediatric patients. Engage in direct patient care, guiding children through exercises, mobility training, and activities geared toward strength building. Monitor and document patient progress, delivering relevant observations to the Physical Therapist for ongoing assessment. Educate and involve families in the therapeutic process by providing home exercise programs and strategies to support child development. Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care delivery and positive outcomes for patients. Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, creating a nurturing and inspiring therapeutic setting. Patient Population / Client Focus This position focuses exclusively on the pediatric population, where you will support children with various orthopedic and neurological conditions. It is crucial that you have a genuine passion for working with children, as this role involves creating a positive and engaging atmosphere that encourages their active participation in therapy. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. A current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Nevada. Scoring at least two years of relevant experience in physical therapy. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Preferred Experience While experience in pediatric physical therapy is preferred, emerging professionals with a strong desire to work with children are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
