Job Title: Contract Services Assistant Manager

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Contract Services Assistant Manager to support the oversight and delivery of custodial and floor care operations across contracted and in ‑ house services . Working under the direction of the Contract Services Manager, this role plays a vital part in ensuring high ‑ quality service delivery , effective supervision , and strong customer relationships . The ideal candidate brings technical knowledge of custodial operations , proven supervisory experience , and the ability to support program development while advancing Goodwill's mission in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily custodial and floor care operations for both contracted and in ‑ house services.
• Train , support , and assist Custodial Supervisors to ensure consistent performance and service quality.
• Assist in developing custodial and floor care programs , schedules, and timelines for service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards , operational procedures , and customer service expectations .
• Maintain detailed operational files , records , and documentation related to services and contracts.
• Provide excellent customer service while serving as a point of contact with internal teams and external partners .
• Support additional operational and supervisory duties as assigned by the Contract Services Manager.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in custodial, floor care, or a related trade.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience supervising three (3) or more employees.
• Valid Florida driver's license and a safe driving record .
• Working knowledge of custodial and floor care equipment , including wringers, buffers, vacuums, burnishers, extractors, and polishers.
• Knowledge of floor systems and maintenance methods , including VCT, ceramic tile, carpet, concrete, and wood surfaces.
• Knowledge of proper handling and safe use of custodial and floor care chemicals.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to train, motivate, and oversee team members.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and detailed files.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with staff, crews, and business partners.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push heavy cleaning equipment.
