Program Specialist

Structure the schedule of activities for the Literacy, Enrichment and Healthy Choices Block Work with literacy staff to organize children into groups based on grade levels and reading levels Support small groups of students during literacy, Enrichment and Healthy Choices components Communicate regularly with Save the Children Lead Associate Assist school staff in administrating I-Ready testing, if needed Conduct at least three family engagement events during the program year to address key Family Engagement strategies Communicate, support, and work on a daily basis with Program Director Work with school personnel to identify struggling readers who would benefit from small group support Record daily program attendance in SCORE Complete all required Save the Children Child Safeguarding trainings. What We Offer: Salary: $23.77- $28.03per hour (depending on experience) M/D/V insurance, Life insurance, Retirement benefits, Paid sick leave and Paid time off and/or vacation. Temporary for the 2026.2027school year What You’ll Need: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired. Licenses/Certificates/Registration: CPR/First AidCertificate Minimum qualifications: Operating standard office equipment including pertinent software applications, preparing and maintaining accurate records, performing basic bookkeeping, business telephone etiquette, knowledge of office methods and practices, ability to adapt to changing work priorities, communicating with diverse groups, work as part of a team About Grandview School District We are a rural and innovative school district offering a wide variety of academic programs and services. Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 75% walking, and 20% standing.
