About the Position

Description:

• Assess and monitor patients with respiratory disorders.
• Provide respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by physicians.
• Operate and monitor respiratory care equipment and devices.
• Assist with airway management and other respiratory procedures as required.
• Monitor patients' responses to treatments and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NBRC RRT credential required
• Active Georgia RRT license through the Georgia Composite Medical Board
• Travel candidates only
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
