Commercial Cleaner Field Supervisor

Pay Rate: $23.00 to $25.00

Schedule:

Wednesday through Friday 6 PM to 2:30 AM

Saturday and Sunday 2 PM to 10:30 PM

Job Summary : 

Action Cleaning Services’ Field Supervisors are responsible for conducting site inspections to ensure ACS customers receive consistent, high-quality service. This role supports quality control efforts within the division and requires the ability to work independently while traveling to multiple job locations. Availability after hours may be necessary to answer phone calls as needed and occasionally fill in for janitorial shifts when coverage is unavailable.

Action Cleaning Services has two levels of Field Supervisors. Level 2 Field Supervisors will perform all listed duties of a Level 1 Field Supervisor in addition to the higher-level tasks listed below. Both levels of Field Supervisor will be responsible for janitor essential functions as required when coverage is unavailable.

Field Supervisor Level 1 Essential Functions :

·         Address quality control issues with clients and provide guidance on corrections; verify corrections have been implemented by janitorial staff.

·         Understand job scopes and site instructions per client specifications.

·         Oversee ACS Site Supervisor job performance and troubleshoot issues that may arise on site; Provide additional training on procedures as needed.

·         Evaluate janitorial staff work performance based on established quality standards

·         Ensure janitors are trained in janitorial cleaning standards and site-specific instructions.

·         Ensure SDS sheets are current and onsite.

·         Communicate safety concerns to management.

·         Assist janitors, as necessary, to ensure contracted service levels are met.

·         Manage, order, and track supplies and consumables at job sites; deliver additional supplies to sites when necessary.

·         Perform in-process inspections on work being conducted to ensure established processes are being followed.

·         Complete incident or injury reports as necessary.

·         Drive company vehicles to various sites.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

Janitor Essential Functions : 

·    Clean and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.
• Spot-clean carpets.
• Dust, polish, and clean baseboards, furniture, walls, equipment, and fixtures.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling.
• Clear debris from indoor and outdoor areas.
• Operate cleaning machinery and power equipment safely and efficiently.
• Mix and use cleaning products and chemicals according to safety guidelines.
• Move and transport furniture, supplies, and equipment manually or with hand trucks.
• Restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Minimum Qualifications:

A Level 1 Field Supervisor must have at least 3 years of experience in the cleaning services industry. 

Both levels must have at least 1 year of experience in customer service, the ability to become an authorized driver, and the ability to pass a criminal background check.

Authorized Driver Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• Have been a licensed driver for 3 years with no breaks
• No major driving infractions in the last 5 years
• Clean driving history
• No unpaid or unresolved tickets
• Have or willing to obtain a Washington state license

Education:

·         High school diploma or GED required. Additional education preferred.

Special Training/Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge in the following areas:

·         Ability to effectively communicate, both spoken and written.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs.

·         Proficient using smart phones and smart phone apps.

·         Self-motivated and continual improvement minded. Able to work with minimal direction.
