Details Work in a Medical Surgical Combination unit within a 143-bed acute care hospital 18-bed unit with an adult patient population of all ages Patient ratio of 1:6 Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Weekend rotation required every other weekend No on-call requirements Float to any med/surg area within scope Uses Meditech EHR system Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand Current BLS certification (AHA) required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Skilled in IV and NG tube insertion Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration Additional Information Provide medical-surgical nursing care to an adult patient population of all ages Strong critical thinking and open communication skills valued Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis American Traveler Job ID P-747769.
