This position calls for a dedicated licensed Physical Therapist with experience or a passion for working in school environments. Situated near Great Falls, MT, you'll collaborate with staff and families to provide vital PT services that foster growth, independence, and well-being for students.
This role offers a consistent 24-hour work week, complete with a set schedule, allowing for excellent work-life balance. You'll support a diverse caseload and help students achieve their fullest potential in a supportive, dynamic setting. Key Qualifications:
- Active PT license and eligibility to practice in Montana
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly desired
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Collaborative approach, working well with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Flexibility and creativity in addressing student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' PT needs in school settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students as directed
- Collaborate with teachers and educational teams to support access to curriculum and mobility within the school environment
- Track and document student progress, providing clear updates and recommendations
- Participate in team meetings and communicate progress with parents and staff
