Endoscopy RN - 13-Week Contract Position

Location: Dallas, TX

Schedule: Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM; On call - One weekend a month and one day a week.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires working in a fast-paced endoscopy unit, providing quality patient care for adults and pediatrics during a variety of procedures. The Endoscopy RN will assist in the preparation, recovery, and care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the endoscopy unit.
• Assist in endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy.
• Monitor and document patient vitals and status in prep/recovery areas.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure and recovery process.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license with required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Experience in endoscopy preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical skills with attention to detail and patient-centered care.
