Clinical Health Psychologist (part-time)

Position Summary Psychiatry & Behavioral Health at Greenwich Hospital is seeking to employ a full‑time clinical psychologist with specialties in the evaluation and treatment of mood, anxiety, and eating‑related disorders. The clinical psychologist will provide evidence‑based and solution‑focused treatments related to mood and anxiety disorders and will perform pre‑bariatric surgery evaluations. Psychiatry & Behavioral Health includes ambulatory programming comprising routine outpatient services for the management of a spectrum of psychiatric conditions, including depressive, anxiety, trauma‑related, and substance use disorders. Responsibilities Conducting diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning for newly referred patients Provision of individual and group behavioral interventions Collaboration with physicians and other multidisciplinary staff for direct patient care Collection of outcome data related to clinical care Engagement in community outreach Participation in departmental meetings and activities Participation in training, supervision, and consultation activities Maintaining charts on all clients in accordance with Quality Assurance policies and procedures Qualifications Education Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical psychology from an APA‑approved graduate program. Experience Training in cognitive‑behavioral therapy (CBT); a biopsychosocial model of understanding and treating psychiatric illness; experience in obesity medicine; and a commitment to program development. Licensure All candidates must be license‑eligible in the State of Connecticut.
