The hygienist will be responsible for providing comprehensive, high-quality patient care in a low-stress environment, utilizing a dedicated one-hour per patient appointment structure. Title Dental Hygienist Job Description Clinical Care: Perform comprehensive prophylactic and periodontal scaling and root planing procedures, ensuring high standards of care. Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including documentation of oral pathology, periodontal charting, and vital signs. Radiography: Take and process high-quality dental radiographs as prescribed. Patient Education: Educate patients on optimal oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, nutritional counseling, and the importance of professional dental maintenance. Maintain an efficient and organized operatory and collaborate effectively with the dentist and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Salary Range full-time $50 - $55 per hour - Holidays Paid holidays included. Shift & Schedule Monday & Wednesday 8am - 3pm One Saturday a month 8am - 2pm Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years) Licensed dental hygienist X-ray / Radiography Certification Current and active State of New Jersey Dental Hygienist License (Required). Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) certification (Required). Previous experience working in a private practice setting. Familiarity with standard dental software and digital charting systems.
