Psycho Social Therapies is a leading mental health agency specializing in long-term care, servicing the geriatric population residing in nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout the state of Ohio. We are actively seeking a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Youngstown, Ohio area and its environs. Our mission is to meet the growing psychiatric service needs of residents in long-term care facilities. As a skilled professional, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to design, implement, and assess treatment plans. Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and medication management for residents.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to design, implement, and assess treatment plans.
Regularly visit assigned long-term care facilities
Minimum Job Requirements:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in accordance with the state of Ohio.
Hold a degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at the level needed to assess and prescribe medication collaboratively with a psychiatrist as determined by the State Board of Nursing.
Board Certified
Psychiatric experience required.
Geriatric experience preferred.
Active DEA required.
