Part-Time / On-Call Housekeeper - Boutique Bed & Breakfast

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our boutique bed and breakfast on a part-time, on-call basis. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a hospitality-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest rooms between stays, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies, dining areas, hallways, and restrooms
Restock guest supplies (toiletries, towels, coffee, etc.)
Ensure rooms meet high cleanliness and presentation standards
Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly
Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Provide friendly and respectful interactions with guests when needed

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hospitality experience a plus)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Ability to be on-call and respond to scheduling needs
Physically able to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods
