Part-Time / On-Call Housekeeper - Boutique Bed & Breakfast


Job Summary


We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our boutique bed and breakfast on a part-time, on-call basis. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a hospitality-focused setting.


Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms between stays, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
• Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies, dining areas, hallways, and restrooms
• Restock guest supplies (toiletries, towels, coffee, etc.)
• Ensure rooms meet high cleanliness and presentation standards
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly
• Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Provide friendly and respectful interactions with guests when needed

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hospitality experience a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to be on-call and respond to scheduling needs
• Physically able to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods

Work Schedule
