Data Analyst (Data & Analytics)Apex is looking for a Data Analyst who is passionate about helping build a world-class data and analytics organization. This individual would be responsible for managing triaging reported data issues, supporting functions with ad-hoc data analysis, increasing the analytics posture of our data infrastructure, and being a thought partner on long-term strategic planning and data-driven growth initiatives with department leaders and other senior leaders within Apex.This role is highly analytical, strategic, and data-oriented and is suited for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to technical and analytical capabilities, with a high level of emotional intelligence, to help grow the Company.Responsibilities:Support Partner Services functions with ad-hoc data analysis capabilities such as data audit reports, producing curated data sets, and exploratory data analysis.Take ownership of triaging reported data issues and identifying root cause.Partner with Data & Analytics team to translate data analysis proof-of-concepts into Data Model enhancements.Partner with Data & Analytics team to implement Data Quality checks within existing Data Pipelines.Provide Data Analysis support for strategic initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with organizational goals.Experience:Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or relevant field.3+ years of experience using Python & SQL in a Data Analysis role.3+ years of experience working with Python Data Science such as like Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn,3+ years of experience using SQL functionality like CTEs, Pivots, Window Functions, etc.Experienced with working with JSON data.Experienced querying OLAP Data Models (Star Schema).Experience with Snowflake & DBT is a plus.Experience with AI, machine learning, or statistical analytics is a plus.Personal Characteristics:Proven adaptability in a fast-paced evolving technology landscape, with strong problem-solving ability and quick learning curve.Analytical – finds meaning and action in numbers, and is a data-driven decision-makerExceptional formatting skills and attention to detailExcellent communicator – written and oralStellar time management and organizational skillsStrong work ethic with a demonstrated history of outworking peersResourceful – figures out how to achieve results creatively with finite resourcesThrives in a nimble, lean, unstructured, fast-paced entrepreneurial environmentWorks collaboratively and energeticallyImpeccable integrity and ethical standardsSelf-aware, accepting, honest, open, and respectful of othersAn undying commitment to personal growth and developmentLocation: Tampa, FL/Dallas, TXCompensation: CompetitiveOther Benefits: medical, dental and vision coverage; unlimited PTO; 401(k) matching APEX Service Partners
