Job Title : Medical Accounts Receivable Coordinator/Medical Biller
Schedule: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Our client in Mt. Laurel, NJ, is seeking a specialized Medical Accounts Receivable Coordinator/Medical Biller . This position paying $26.00-$27.00 Per Hour. This is a critical role ensuring compliance with CMS regulations and the timely submission of hospice claims. If you have a background in medical billing and a strong understanding of hospice levels of care, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit, and monitor hospice claims (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, commercial)
- Process Medicare Notice of Election (NOE) billing and ensure timely compliance
- Manage room & board billing for patients in nursing facilities
- Monitor A/R, resolve denials, and follow up on unpaid claims
- Post payments, process adjustments, and reconcile billing reports
- Coordinate with internal teams and external facilities to support accurate billing
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and/or billing
- Experience in Hospice or Home Health billing is preferred
- Experience with room and board billing for hospice patients in nursing facilities
- Familiarity with Medicaid and managed care payer processes
- Experience with electronic billing systems and EHR platforms
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage complex documentation requirements and meet strict billing deadlines.
- Education: High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and professional communication for collaborating with clinical staff.
