Delivery Helper

Position Summary The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, and preparing the truck for the following day and maintaining the truck and equipment. Duties & Responsibilities Compliance with company, state and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT. Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order. Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer. Secure mud, equipment, metal and pallet on truck. Navigate routes to the job site. Basic Qualifications Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately. Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. to carry materials such as drywall and joint compound. Core Competencies Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; lead, execute and delegate as needed and collaborate with others to get the job done. Establish and maintain effective working relationships at every level of the organization; invest in building relationships with the Field Operations and Field Support Center team members. Physical Requirements Must be able to remain standing 90% of the time. Constantly move from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto the job site. Unload and load materials from flatbed or boom, frequently moving items weighing up to 100 lbs. Must be able to communicate accurately with management and coworkers in dynamic situations. Work outdoors while making deliveries. Required Cognitive Skills Prioritize job sites and deadlines. Manage stress depending on customer deadlines and multitask. Receive information and directions quickly and communicate solutions when problems occur. Demonstrate a high degree of sound judgment. Base salary: $0.00 to $25.00 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including position, location, education, training and experience. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime, performance‑based bonuses, commissions, car allowance, automobile and fuel program and travel expense reimbursement in accordance with company policy.
