Sterile Processing Technician Grapevine, TX Specialty: Sterile Processing Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $1,228 - $1,480 | Shift: 5x8 Days, Mon-Fri, 0900-1730 Are you a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills? Do you excel in a fast-paced environment where precision and attention to detail are paramount? Our healthcare partner in Grapevine, TX, is seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join their team and ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of surgical tools, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards, and supporting the surgical team with precision and efficiency.
- Perform cleaning, sterilization, and processing of medical instruments and equipment
- Organize and distribute patient equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Operate semi-automatic and automatic sterilization equipment
- Maintain and control inventory of medical supplies and surgical carts
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and infection control practices
- Provide in-service training and mentorship to junior staff
- Need 3 years experience in setting
- BLS (AHA Only) and CRCST certification required
