This is an opportunity to provide evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative, innovative environment designed to help children thrive.Apply today at threebirdsonemission.com/careers!About the RoleAs a Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Blue Bird Day, you will provide physical therapy to children ages 2-7 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. You'll foster each child's mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence growth through:Providing individualized and group therapyImplementing therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM)Collaborating daily with occupational and speech therapists, as well as social workersDocumenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of careRequirements:Active PTA license from Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive Salary: $56,000-$62,000Comprehensive Health Coverage (Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance) + Life and Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Competitive Paid Time Off and holiday allowancesGenerous 401k Retirement Plan with employer contributionsSchedule & LocationSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8-4:30pmLocation: 1233 W.
