Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Housekeeping Houseperson will support the housekeeping team by ensuring guest rooms and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked. Working primarily in a hotel environment, this role requires frequent interaction with guests and operates during standard daytime hours, including weekends. The Houseperson occasionally uses cleaning machinery to assist in maintaining high cleanliness standards.ResponsibilitiesPrepare guest rooms for occupancy by cleaning and restocking suppliesAssist with laundry duties to ensure timely availability of linens and towelsTrack inventory levels of cleaning supplies and room amenitiesInteract regularly with guests to address requests and provide assistanceOperate cleaning machinery as needed to maintain hygiene in guest and public areasPreferred QualificationsEntry-level experience in housekeeping or custodial servicesKnowledge of effective cleaning techniquesStrong time management skills to meet daily housekeeping targetsAttention to detail to ensure thorough cleanliness and guest satisfactionPhysical stamina to handle repetitive and physically demanding tasks
