divh2Buyer/h2pThe Buyer will be a detail-orientated person working within the purchasing department to source, negotiate and procure raw materials required for production while managing inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking./ppMinimum of 3-years of experience in a manufacturing environment/ppStrong math, written, verbal and analytical skills/ppExcellent computer skills/ppMicrosoft Office intermediate level/ppExcel advanced level/ppInventory system software - intermediate level/ppAbility to build and maintain productive relationships with peers and functional teams./ppDemonstrated confidentiality and the ability to represent the company in a professional manner./ppAbility to work independently and take on new challenges/ppEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary./ppCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions./ppBe a key contributing team member/ppCreate and/or processing purchase orders and maintain tracking of delivery/ppEvaluating and planning of raw material component(s) and / packaging products and their delivery/ppEstablish and maintain vendor relationships./ppMaintain vendor, inventory, and regulatory files/ppCarry out procedures involving quality and trial processes with suppliers/ppSet up new suppliers and / or service providers/ppFollow company policies and procedures/ppFollow up on all orders for proper authorization in a timely manner/ppAttend scheduling and / or production meetings as assigned/ppMonitor inventory for Obsolete materials/ppHours 8am to 5pm.
