We also have amazing benefits, check them out below! We are seeking a skilled and experienced Level 2 Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. Your expertise will directly ensure the smooth, efficient, and secure operation of our customers' mission‑critical communication systems. Key Responsibilities As a Level 2 Network Engineer, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end network lifecycle management, optimization, and advanced troubleshooting. Your core capabilities will include: Design & Deployment: Design solutions, integrate, configure, deploy, test, and provide ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices, interfaces, and methodologies. Performance Optimization: Optimize end‑to‑end system performance and dataflow management to minimize network latency and maximize data throughput. Component Integration: Configure and optimize the network to seamlessly connect various front‑end and back‑end components. Data Analysis & Monitoring: Gather critical data to specify system/component performance and interface requirements; conduct data captures to analyze and report on network health. Advanced Network Solutions: Implement specialized network solutions to support server requirements, including: Load‑balancing, VPNs, and firewall contexts Traffic Shaping and Voice over IP (VoIP) GRE Tunneling, IP Security (IPSec), and IP Encryption Media over IP (MoIP) and Network Address Translation (NAT) Provide strategic technical input to the overall design of the organization’s network and mission architecture. Required Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, combined with 10+ years of hands‑on network engineering experience. Core Knowledge: In‑depth understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and robust security principles. Technical Proficiency: Advanced skill in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex network devices and technologies. Tools: Strong familiarity with industry‑standard network monitoring tools and methodologies. Required Certifications Must possess an active Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent). Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph Pay Range: $155,000-$190,000 Please note that the listed salary range for this position at M2 Technology Group is intended as a helpful guide, not a fixed guarantee.
