QA TesterLocation: Westchester, IL (Hybrid)Duration: 12 MonthsRate: DOELocal Candidates onlyJob description:Develop clear and easy-to-follow test cases to measure software quality and compliance with business requirements and application designProperly document testing issues to aid others in the quick and efficient remediation of the issueCreate and manage test data as neededCreate and maintain automation scriptsExecute regression test suite, keep it current with new functionality, and remove redundant testingCollect and report testing status to the team leadership as necessarySupport user acceptance testing as necessarySupport the establishment and maintenance of a test case repositoryFollow the best practices as defined by the QA LeadershipExperience with Automation tools (e.g. Tosca, Selenium)Qualification:3 to 5 years of hands-on experienceStrong understanding of quality principles, practices, and structured testing methodologyExperience conducting testing within different development methodologies specifically AgileHas an automate-first mentality regarding test casesExperience writing and executing SQL scripts to locate, create, or manipulate test dataProven ability to write and execute detailed test scriptsAbility to communicate effectively with the project team, and other application teams
