About the Opportunity:

A well-established group of California-based litigation and defense law firms is seeking experienced Associate Attorneys to join their growing legal teams. These firms are recognized for providing high-quality legal representation across a variety of civil litigation matters, including complex litigation, defense work, and specialized legal matters.

These opportunities offer a flexible Hybrid/Remote work environment, allowing attorneys to collaborate with experienced partners and associates while managing meaningful litigation matters.

Practice Areas:

• Civil Litigation / Environmental Law Focus
• Insurance Defense Litigation
• Medical Malpractice Defense experience is a plus but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and court proceedings
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on litigation strategy
• Insurance defense experience preferred.
• Environmental law experience preferred for applicable matters.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the State of California
• +1 years of civil litigation experience (All experience levels are highly encouraged to apply).
• Excellent interpersonal, oral advocacy, and written communication skills.
• Strong desire to actively try lawsuits and engage in courtroom environments.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$150,000 – $200,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Additional Earning Potential: A transparent billable hour bonus structure starts promptly at 1860 hours annually.
