Radiology Technologist CT Scan Tech

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist specializing in CT Scans to join our team. In this role, you will operate advanced computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed diagnostic images, ensuring high-quality care and accurate results for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for CT scan procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and positioning them correctly.
• Operate CT scan equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Administer contrast materials when necessary to enhance imaging results, following established safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians to analyze imaging results and provide accurate diagnostic support.
• Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements.

700 Beds (across 2 campuses) Level 1 Trauma Center Teaching Facility Exposure to a variety of settings-inpatient, outpatient, mobile, ED. Perform all types of CT exams, to include: head, pelvis, trauma, specialized cardiac, CT angiograms. GE Revolution, GE Discovery, and Toshiba Quillion1 Required: NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License R.T. (R) (CT) (ARRT) NYS Injection/IV Certification BLS 1 year experience minimum, 2 years preferred Every other weekend. Scrubs must match top & bottom. Any color. No patterns. Not provided. No open toed shoes or excessive jewelry. Long hair must be tied back; beards trimmed for fit-testing. No chipping paint on nails
