Position Summary

Electro-Methods Inc. is seeking a motivated and highly capable Human Resources Business Partner to support our growing aerospace manufacturing organization. This opportunity is well suited to a rising HR professional who has developed a strong foundation in HR operations and is ready to expand their contribution as a trusted partner to managers and employees.

The HR Business Partner will provide hands-on support across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, compliance, HR systems, and employee engagement. The role will initially maintain a strong operational focus while progressively assuming broader responsibility for manager coaching, workforce planning, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and change initiatives.

Success in this position requires a visible presence throughout the organization, including regular engagement with employees and leaders on the manufacturing floor. The successful candidate will combine responsive employee support, disciplined HR administration, sound judgment, and the ability to build trusted relationships at every level of the company.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnership and Manager Support

• Establish effective working relationships with assigned business leaders, supervisors, and employees.
• Develop an understanding of operational priorities, workforce requirements, and employee-related challenges within assigned departments.
• Provide timely and practical HR guidance to managers regarding policies, employee relations, performance, attendance, staffing, and workplace practices.
• Coach managers on effective employee communication, feedback, documentation, and consistent application of company policies.
• Participate in workforce planning discussions and help identify current and future staffing, capability, and succession needs.
• Use HR data and employee feedback to identify trends, risks, and opportunities requiring management attention.

Recruiting and Onboarding

• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities for hourly, technical, professional, and administrative positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to clarify position requirements, develop job postings, review candidates, and coordinate interviews.
• Conduct candidate screening interviews and support the development of qualified candidate slates.
• Monitor recruiting activity and provide regular reports on open positions, candidate pipelines, hiring progress, and time to fill.
• Promote a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Coordinate a structured and welcoming onboarding process for all new employees, partnering with managers to establish role-specific onboarding and 30-, 60-, and 90-day integration plans.

Employee Engagement and Retention

• Support employee-engagement, recognition, communication, and retention initiatives.
• Maintain a regular presence in production and employee work areas to build relationships and understand workplace needs.
• Coordinate employee events, recognition activities, surveys, listening sessions, and related communications.
• Monitor employee feedback and recommend actions to strengthen engagement and the employee experience.
• Support company culture initiatives and reinforce Electro-Methods’ expectations for safety, precision, excellence, collaboration, and people.
• Help managers recognize employee contributions and address issues that may affect morale or retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related discipline preferred.
• Approximately five or more years of progressive human resources experience, including meaningful responsibility for HR operations and employee support.
• Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, engineering, or similarly regulated environment strongly preferred.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or progress toward professional HR certification is desirable.
