SENIOR LEGAL ANALYST

Paralegal, Environmental Justice and Protection Section Department of Justice – Division of Public Rights, Environment Justice and Protection Section. Classification: Senior Legal Analyst – Salary $6,330.00 to $7,929.00 per month. Final filing date: 7/6/2026. Responsibilities Research, compile, and analyze facts, data, and documents. Use and advise on computerized litigation support software (e.g., Relativity). Prepare draft legal documents. Assist with trial preparation, legal research, and communications with the public. Act as Case Coordinator for ProLaw. Maintain files, logs, and statistics. Assist with administrative matters for the management of the Section. Minimum Requirements Classification: Senior Legal Analyst or Legal Analyst. New-to-state candidates are hired at the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of an alternate range when applicable. Desirable Qualifications Strong analytical and paralegal skills. Familiarity with legal concepts and procedures. Experience with electronic discovery software such as Relativity, CaseMap, and Trial Director. Proficiency with Power Point, Word, and Excel. Relevant linguistic skills and experience in investigations and complex litigation. Ability to work independently or in a team, take initiative, assume high-level responsibility, and exercise good judgment. Good verbal and written communication skills.
