Correctional Officer

St. Louis County Jail Division in Northern Minnesota hires permanent full-time Correctional Officers. These positions entail shift work (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays) with premiums for evening/night hours and holidays. No prior training is necessary; we train all new hires in our own academy right in the jail. These officers are responsible for monitoring inmate safety, processing admissions and releases, maintaining security, and operating jail-related equipment and records. #J-18808-Ljbffr
