Certified Medical Assistant - Adult Care

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. Sign-On for Eligible New Hires. Work location: 902 West Randol Mill Road - Suite 150, Arlington, TX 76012. Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Friday (8am-5pm). Department highlights: Fast-Paced Clinic with Growth and Development Opportunities. Collaborative Work Environment. Qualifications:

Here's What You Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
• CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)
• One year of experience as a Medical Assistant (PREFERRED)
• Willing to consider a New CMA that has completed an Externship
• Bilingual (Spanish or Vietnamese) (PREFERRED)
• ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED)

What You Will Do:

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
• Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
• Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
• Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
• May work in the front office as needed
• May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
