Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Night shift: 4x12-hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate must hold an active Ohio RRT license and obtain NRP certification prior to the start date. Experience in high-risk environments is preferred; however, candidates without such experience must be open to high-risk training on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to adult and geriatric patient populations, as well as pediatric patients as required.
• Conduct airway management, medication delivery, and pulmonary hygiene.
• Perform evaluation and treatment of respiratory conditions, including ventilator management and ABG sampling.
• Respond to emergency codes and rapid response situations, performing CPR and other critical interventions.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries in the neonatal/pediatric specialty.
• Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation and maintain indwelling lines.
• Float between facilities as needed within the Metro Region.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Active RRT license in Ohio and must have NRP certification prior to starting.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory; experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Preferred experience in adult critical care and emergency department settings.
