Lectureship In Biology

Location: UNG - Gainesville

Schedule: Full-Time

The Department of Biology at the University of North Georgia invites applicants for a Lectureship (with benefits) in biology, primarily on its Gainesville campus.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach a wide range of undergraduate courses in biology, primarily at the introductory level, with a course load of 4 lectures and 4 laboratories per semester. Teaching other courses in their specialty may be available. The ability to successfully incorporate technology and teach on-line is highly desirable. Teaching assignments may extend to other campuses such as Ivester Early Learning Campuses, and Cumming Campus.

Earned master's degree in biology or a closely related field with at least 18 hours of graduate level biology courses at the time of appointment is required. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential. A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching.
