Job Description Residential Electrician Rougher – Phoenix, Arizona IES Residential is currently seeking a Residential Electrician Rougher. Responsibilities Pull wire through conduit and make connections to electrical panels, junction boxes, and other electrical components. Perform hot‑check troubleshooting. Read and interpret blueprints and building codes to determine electrical layouts and wiring requirements. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent workplace accidents and injuries. Carry, hold, and organize materials required for completing projects. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Communicate effectively with team members and follow direction from supervisors and licensed electricians. Report any unsafe working conditions or incidents promptly to the appropriate person. Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 0-2 Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Clean driving record. Ability to pass a background and drug test. Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) is a plus. Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs. Stand, bend, and work in tight spaces for extended periods. Work at heights (ladders, scaffolding) and in outdoor weather conditions.
