Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active OT license for New Jersey
• Experience working with school-aged children, ideally ages 9-10
• Knowledge of best practices in pediatric occupational therapy within educational settings
• Ability to travel locally for in-home sessions
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Collaborative spirit to coordinate with educators and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized therapy sessions, both on-site at the school and within student homes
• Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
• Assess skill levels and document progress with detailed reports
• Offer consultations and training to parents and school staff to support at-home activities
• Adapt therapy techniques to foster independence and achieve occupational goals
• Maintain schedule and case documentation in compliance with school and professional requirements

This position is structured as very part-time, approximately 2 to 4 hours per week—ideal for therapists seeking supplemental work or a highly flexible schedule.
