Details 20-bed PCU with 5 RNs and 2 LNAs, staffing flexed with patient volume 4:1 patient ratios Uses GE cardiac monitoring and Hospira IV pumps Charts in Expanse EMR Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment Floating required to Med Surg, ICU (for border patients), and Emergency Department (for ED holds) Every other weekend required, or equivalent based on staffing needs Requirements Active NH or compact RN license required at time of consideration BLS and ACLS certification required NIH Stroke Certification required 2 years of PCU experience required 2 years of hospital setting experience required Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience required No gaps in work history of 90 days within the past 12 months US SSN and DOB required for consideration One professional reference required Additional Information Provide bedside nursing care to progressive care patients requiring close monitoring Pre/post cardiac catheterization and pacemaker patient care experience preferred Prior HCA experience preferred Professional attire required; no specific scrub color mandated Best fit is self-directed, confident, positive under pressure, with strong communication and teamwork skills Unit policies and guidelines to be discussed during interview and orientation Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-747484.
