Job Description
This position is for an Echocardiogram Technologist working day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM on a four-day schedule consisting of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The technologist performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures to evaluate heart structure and function in adult patients. Responsibilities include conducting echocardiographic studies, capturing accurate imaging data, and supporting physicians in diagnosing cardiac conditions. The role requires the ability to identify normal and abnormal cardiac findings while producing high-quality diagnostic images. The technologist will work closely with cardiologists and healthcare staff to ensure efficient workflow within the cardiac imaging department. The position requires strong attention to detail, clinical knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, and the ability to maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record system.

Requirements:
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program or an equivalent background that qualifies them to sit for cardiac sonography certification with at least one year of cardiac echocardiography experience. Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) in Adult Echocardiography is required. Applicants must also hold a valid license from the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire. A current Basic Life Support certification is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge of cardiac imaging procedures, anatomy, and physiology, along with the ability to recognize arrhythmias and abnormal cardiac conditions during diagnostic imaging. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare teams are essential.
