Unleash your talent and redefine what's possible. Vice President Contracts, Engineered Systems Parsons is looking for a Vice President, Contracts to support our Engineered Systems business unit. In this role you will lead the contracts function in a dynamic Federal contracting environment. You will be responsible for advising senior stakeholders, developing contracting strategy and negotiating FAR-based and commercial contracts. You will lead a team of 20+ Contract professionals that are responsible for all Contract activity (New Business, Existing Business and Close-out activity) within a major Market within Parsons' Federal Division. You must be fully knowledgeable of all legal, business, financial, and long-term implications of prime contract negotiation and maintenance. Developing positive relationships with current and future customers is imperative in this role. This candidate will enjoy a virtual work arrangement with travel to Parsons HQ in Chantilly, VA, client's offices, or project sites. This position is part of our Corporate team. What You'll Be Doing Effectively managing, training, and developing a team of Contract Professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality performance Conducting risk assessments, helping to shape business strategy and supporting business unit and corporate level reviews. Structuring and negotiating complex contracts and/or contract modifications, often under difficult conditions with the US Government and commercial entities. Building strong relationships with internal and external customers What Required Skills You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field, or a JD. 15+ years of prime contract administration experience to include construction for the Federal Government. A comprehensive knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, OTAs and all other industry business practices for the negotiation of prime and subcontracts. Experience working with Federal agencies including DOW and the FAA. Possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration. Willingness to embrace AI to improve productivity and drive innovation Proven ability for managing and directing work involving complex situations.
