Summary We are a reputable and growing plastic surgery practice dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional aesthetic results. We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Plastic Surgery Nurse to support both surgical and non-surgical procedures. The Plastic Surgery Nurse should have experience in patient care, highly organized and comfortable working in a surgical setting. Position Highlights: The Registered Nurse delivers individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies and in accordance with ANA code of ethics and external regulatory agencies. Registered Nurses use the nursing process to effectively plan and manage quality patient care. Biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational and discharge planning needs are addressed in all steps of the nursing process. This is demonstrated in base-line and comparative documentation, entered in a timely manner, and with evidence of age-appropriate consideration when care is planned, delivered, and evaluated. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Previous experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, or surgical nursing Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment Knowledge of sterile techniques and patient safety protocols Experience with EMR systems preferred Patient education and care coordination Responsibilities: Prepare patients for surgery, including pre-op education and documentation Provide post-operative care and patient instructions #J-18808-Ljbffr Moffitt Cancer Center Partnership
