In this role, you will assist machine operators in producing customer orders safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards while supporting continuous improvement efforts across the facility.What You'll DoFollow safety procedures and promote a safety-first cultureComply with GMP, ISO, PPE, and Clean Room gowning requirementsAssist operators with machine setup, roll changes, machine jams, adjustments, and basic troubleshootingProvide machine coverage during breaks, meetings, and other operator absencesUse AMS to access, interpret, and print production specificationsSafely operate equipment including tilt locks, banders, and pallet jacksPerform visual inspections, material checks, and quality-related tasksMaintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free work environment using 6S principlesParticipate in continuous improvement activities and support additional projects as assignedMust HaveAbility to work a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 scheduleBasic computer skills and ability to learn production systems and programsBasic math, measurement, and reading skillsAbility to perform visual inspections and distinguish colorsCommitment to safety, quality, and teamworkAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand for long periods and perform climbing, crouching, and reaching tasksPreferredPrevious manufacturing experienceBasic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of mechanical equipmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsGood organizational and interpersonal skillsExperience working in a manufacturing or production environmentJoin AmcorJoin a global leader in packaging where safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement drive everything we do.Our ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
