About the Position

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 18 months of experience in specialty preferred; 2 years preferred. License: State license required. Certifications: ARRT, AHA ACLS, BLS; RCIS preferred. Must-Have: Candidate must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs. Description: The position is for an Interventional Radiology Technician. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of experience in the specialty, with 2 years preferred. Additional Cath/EP experience is sought as candidates may float between units. First-time candidates are accepted. Weekend requirements can be discussed with the manager. On-call duties are required. Floating to sister facilities may be necessary. Local candidates are accepted. All requests for time off must be included at the time of application. This is a short-term acute care facility. The facility supports a teaching environment and has a total of 521 staffed beds. Candidates must comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements. References from previous supervisors or managers will be required. Ongoing education and competency requirements will be upheld throughout employment. The facility maintains a strict smoke-free policy.
