Key Responsibilities of the ED Registered Nurse

• Manage patient care for stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure cases
• Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Administer required drips and medications, including Pressors, Vasodilators, and Sedation drugs
• Provide care for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Adapt to floating requirements as needed

Requirements of the ED Registered Nurse

• Active NY RN License with verification through NURSYS
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ED with some pediatric experience
• Documented travel nursing experience
• EMR experience required, particularly EPIC
