At VCA Richland Animal Hospital , we help pets live long, healthy and happy lives. We are expanding our Patient Care team and seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician!
Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday - Thursday.
About Our Hospital
VCA Richland Animal Hospital is a 2-doctor practice where pets, clients, and team members are treated like family. We offer preventive care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and compassionate client education while maintaining a welcoming, supportive workplace where everyone can succeed.
The Role
As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting patient care and client experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building client relationships and wants to grow within a supportive team.
What You'll Do
- Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery
- Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM
- Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments
- Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records

- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE.
