Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operates vehicle in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state and federal requirements and Company expectations for the Fleet; maintains a clean and safe vehicle.
2. Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using standard eDVIR (electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on eDVIR form for corrective review/repair.
3. Immediately reports any unsafe situations or unscheduled service calls to Operations Manager and Dispatch before attempting service.
4. Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Operations Manager.
5. Works closely with Operations Managers and Dispatch to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.
6. Performs all duties as scheduled by Operations Manager and Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.
7. Notifies Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.
8. Notifies Operations Manager and Dispatch of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers, services that cannot be completed, or problems that arise on the route.
9. Communicates customer requests, issues, or service changes to Operations Manager and Dispatch.
10. Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.
11. Positions containers on the customer's property in a manner that ensures containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
12. Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route.

Qualifications

A. Required Qualifications

• 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or
• 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years and
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports and
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located and
• Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
• (CDL)-Class A

Field: This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity. This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre‑employment screening, post‑incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing—in accordance with government regulations and company policies.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this on-site position is $28.00 - $31.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
