Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room (ER)

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Position: RN Emergency Room (ER) Location: Des Moines, IA Start Date: ASAP Shift: Nights | FridaySunday | 7:00 PM 7:00 AM Schedule: 312-hour shifts | 36 hrs/week Weekend Requirements: As scheduled Holiday Rotation: Required EMR: EPIC

Weekly Gross: $2,489 Taxable Base: $1,080 ($30/hr W2 base) Stipend: $1,407 (housing + meals & incidentals) OT Rate: $45/hr Callback Rate: $60/hr Travel Reimbursement: Up to $600

Patient Types: Behavioral Health, Pediatrics, Adults Patient Ratios: 1:4 Bed Size: 18 Drips: Sedation, Vasoactive

Minimum 3+ years of Emergency Room RN experience 1st-time travelers accepted Experience with peds/adults, including behavioral health Experience with sedation and vasoactive drips Must be able to read telemetry strips Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (AHA) License: Active Iowa RN or Compact License
