Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

• Own and execute month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, and journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Manage resident billing, lease administration, and financial data with a high degree of accuracy.
• Analyze financial performance, identify key trends and variances, and provide actionable insights to management.
• Senior Accountant will support budgeting, forecasting, audit activities, and other financial planning initiatives that drive business performance.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and accounting policies while promoting best practices across the organization.

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a proven track record of increased responsibility and professional growth.
• Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite, including financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Required experience with property management accounting software in a multi-entity or property management environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and accounting best practices.
