Screening Sales Representative - Torrington, CT

Abbott seeks a Screening Sales Representative for its Cancer Diagnostics division in Torrington, CT to drive adoption of colorectal cancer screening solutions. The role involves building customer relationships, executing territory plans, and collaborating cross-functionally to advance early cancer detection and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to increase awareness and adoption of Cologuard diagnostic solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare administrators, and key stakeholders to identify needs
- Analyze healthcare markets and customer data to identify opportunities for patient outcome improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement customer-specific business strategies and maximize account success
- Document customer interactions, sales activities, and market intelligence in CRM systems while maintaining compliance standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Life Sciences, or related field; or four years relevant professional experience
- Two years sales/account management experience, or one year sales plus one year healthcare experience, or active-duty military service as Junior Officer or above
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with ability to influence customers
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record meeting company requirements
- Daily territory travel capability including occasional overnight travel
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to meet healthcare facility credentialing requirements including vaccination compliance
Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
