Site Supervisor

The Judge Group Inc

Judge Direct Placement is seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Supervisor / Lead with a strong background in heavy fabrication and industrial machinery. This role will oversee the production of material handling equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.The ideal candidate is hands-on, results-driven, and skilled in managing shop floor operations while driving efficiency, quality, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily fabrication operations with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
Lead a team in the manufacturing of heavy-duty material handling equipment
Track and analyze KPIs, production metrics, cost, and waste reduction initiatives
Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication processes
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams
Maintain a safe and organized working environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy fabrication and/or industrial machinery manufacturing
Strong leadership experience in a production or shop environment
Demonstrated ability to track and improve metrics, KPIs, cost, and waste
Knowledge of welding, cutting, forming, and assembly processes
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field)
